1. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir

Ram Janmabhoomi is the place where Shri Ram Lalla (baby Shri Rama) was born. There lived a snake in that river whose name was the serpent, Kumud. Kumud found that bangle took it away, and gave it to her daughter as a gift. When Kush learned about this, he went to Serpent to ask for his bangle but Kumud refused to give him the bangle back. Kumud said that the things gifted to her daughter were not taken back from her.

But Kush remained firm and kept demanding his bangle again and again. The dispute between Nagraj and Kush escalated to such an extent that it led to war. Kush got angry and decided to eliminate the serpents from the entire earth. Then the serpent Kumud appealed to Lord Shiva for his protection and Lord Shiva appeared there. He pacified Kush and asked him to marry Kumud's daughter. After this incident, Kush established the Nageshwar Nath temple at the place where Lord Shiva had appeared.
